Port Ahuriri School 8 August 2022
Dear Parents & Caregivers
Tēnā koutou te hunga pānui o tō tātou hāpori. Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa
After such a great couple of weeks generally with the weather, temperatures are due to fall this week and we are in for a cold and wet week. Please make sure the children are dressed appropriately, particularly with wet weather gear for pickups. I often feel for the children in the cold and wet waiting to be picked up at this time of year as we have very little to offer in the way of shelter. The forecast is for rain Monday to Thursday in the afternoon this week. Here’s hoping Coastal Cluster Soccer can still go ahead this week.
There’s building excitement here at school with the children involved in Edible Arts and across the school as production practices and costume fittings ramp up. It’s a very exciting time.
Have a great week.
