Port Ahuriri School 6 December 2022
Dear Parents & Caregivers
Tēnā koutou te hunga pānui o tō tātou hāpori. Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa
There are a number of events popping up over the next 7 days of school. Please see below to get a feel for what is happening.
It is with regret that we have pulled the plug on Thursday nights final assembly party. It was to be held here at school but the weather forecast is for significant rain on Thursday.
At this stage we don't have a postponement date and so we have regretfully cancelled.
We have had a great year and looking back have been able to achieve a wide range of community events. We are looking forward to bringing some curriculum based ones to you next year - some more Amazing Races - that we haven't been able to do for the last three years.
Have a lovely Christmas and break with your families and children and we'll see you back here on Monday 30 January for our first day of 2023.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Theft
Could we please ask our amazing school whanau to keep an eye out if you are at the school after hours anytime with your children and if you see anything suspicious please call 105.
It is lovely seeing so many families using the school over the weekends and we want to ensure everyone is safe, but these thefts are starting to cost significant amounts of money. Money that comes directly from the children's learning programmes and we would much rather spend it on them.
