Welcome to the very special learning community that is Port Ahuriri School.
We hope that you find our web site interesting and informative and gives you a feel for the special character of our school. It provides our community with ongoing information about happenings in our vibrant and diverse school.
Port Ahuriri School is a state contributing school, catering for children from year 1 to 6. We have an average roll of 252.
We are also a signatory to the International Code for the Pastoral Care of International Students.
Our school is zoned for enrolments. For automatic entry you must live in our school zone. See the section Important Details for a link to our map. For those living outside our zone, please contact the school as there maybe places available and/or you can join our waitlist. The process for this can be explained on contact.
We have an open door policy here at Port Ahuriri, and we encourage all members of our community to be involved in educating our children.
Check out the Events Calendar for the dates and times of all the important events at school. You are most welcome to attend these events. Download our newsletter - don't forget to sign up for our mailing list so that the newsletter gets emailed to you automatically the minute we update it.
We look forward to meeting and/or hearing from you.
